Job Summary:
As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your main goal will be to promote patient health and comfort while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
2. Monitor and record patient vital signs.
3. Assist patients with activities of daily living.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans.
5. Educate patients and their families on health and wellness practices.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
7. Respond to medical emergencies as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations.
4. Proficiency in basic nursing procedures and techniques.
5. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols.
6. Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
